Principal Accountabilities:

Develop and implement an Attraction & Retention strategy for BAT Nigeria which is aligned to, and supports the company vision & strategy.

Lead the development and delivery of excellent Talent practices to ensure that this strategy is achieved in the short, medium and longer term.

Source, implement and embed appropriate differentiated selection tools and assessment methodologies which are valid, culturally robust and also provide formal training to managers in their use to ensure professional and objective selection decisions are made.

Develop and implement the BAT Nigeria resourcing strategy to ensure a continual flow of talent into the organisation.

Measure and monitor people dynamics within the organisation: New recruits, promotion, turnover – with feedback and recommendations

Ensure that resourcing practices within the Area are consistent w.r.t tools, standards, practices etc.

Implement and Manage the challenge Initiatives and Growth Academy Programmes in line with yearly targets to support the company's objectives to build a healthy pipeline of future Nigeria talent.

Survey comparator companies to establish best practice and new developments in all Resourcing-related activities and evaluates their application to British American Tobacco to ensure leading edge stance is maintained.

Ensure integrity and consistency of the process of e-Recruitment within the Area by overseeing the administration of the E-Recruitment portal for own Area

Drive employer reputation initiatives and create awareness on Employer Value Proposition

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

The position requires the jobholder to have a degree in social sciences or business related field.
Progressive generalist/specialist HR experience of 5 years or more and broad knowledge of the organization and the business.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills are required.
Knowledge of Relevant Nigeria Labour Legislation
